Standard Royal Mail Recorded Delivery with dispatch and delivery normally within 5-7 working days.
Expedited Royal Mail Next Working Day Delivery (Mon-Fri). Guaranteed Dispatch within 1 FULL WORKING DAY (Mon-Fri), normally same day for cleared payment before Noon although this is not guaranteed.
Expedited items receive priority over Standard
FREE EXPEDITED DELIVERY on all orders over £100*
*Where a customer cancels or returns an order or part of which reduces the order value below the appropriate level to qualify for free delivery then postage costs will be retrospectively charged at the current item postage costs on the site.
International
Royal Mail International Signed For or Royal Mail Airsure will be used subject to country availability. Delivery normally within 7-10 working days of dispatch notification.
Delayed or Missing Orders
UK
If your order is not delivered within the stated time period please follow the following procedure:
1. Contact your Local Royal Mail Sorting Office to see if the item is being held for you
2. If your order was dispatched via Expedited Service please attempt to track via the Royal Mail website (http://www.royalmail.com) using the tracking number provided.
3. For Standard Delivery Items, or untracked Expedited Items, all enquiries concerning delayed or missing orders should be sent via email to sales@designer-city.co.uk. We will endeavour to respond within 1 FULL working day.
PLEASE NOTE: Under Royal Mail’s Terms and Conditions an item is not considered lost or missing until 10 working days (Expedited), 15 working days (Standard), have elapsed. We are unable therefore to send a replacement or arrange a refund until after this deadline.
OVERSEAS
If your order has not been delivered within the stated time period please follow the following procedure:
1. Attempt to track via the Royal Mail website (http://www.royalmail.com) using the tracking number provided.
2. All enquiries concerning delayed or missing orders should be sent via email to sales@designer-city.co.uk. We will endeavour to respond within 1 FULL working day.
PLEASE NOTE: Royal Mail DO NOT consider and item to be lost or missing until 28 working days have elapsed. We are unable therefore to send a replacement or arrange a refund until after this deadline.
FAILED DELIVERY/NON-COLLECTION
Postage charged or free postage, where applied, is for one delivery attempt. We send items by tracking post if delivery attempt fails a calling card is left for package collection (overseas: depends on country's postal system), packages are normally held for 7-10 days by them.
Uncollected items are returned to us and may be resent subject to postage & packaging being paid. Failure to pay this charge within 28 days of our request will result in our processing an item price refund or in cases of free delivery the standard postage & packaging charges which normally apply with order will be deducted from refund.

ORDER CANCELLATION
You may cancel within 7 days of purchase. Orders dispatched or delivered will be refunded in accordance with our published Terms and Conditions.
Refunds are processed within 30 days of cancellation but normally in 2 working days of return. Cancelled orders should be sent Royal Mail Recorded Post at customer's cost. We do not accept responsibility for or refund on postage costs. Customer used or damaged products will not be refunded.
Due to the type of items we sell, to comply with Health, Safety and Hygiene Laws, items should be unopened, unused and in their original packaging.
Returns should be sent within 14 days of notice.
RETURNS: COMPLIANCE WITH HEALTH, SAFETY & HYGIENE LAWS
Due to the type of item that we sell, to comply with UK Health, Safety and Hygiene Laws, we are unable to accept items for exchange or refund returned to us in an open or used/tested condition. Your statutory rights are unaffected.
Items returned to us in such condition will not be accepted but returned to the customer at their own cost. Should you decline to pay the cost of returning the item within 21 days of a request from us to do so, the item will be disposed of and no reimbursement of any kind provided.
FAULTY OR WRONG ITEMS
All orders and items are fully checked prior to packaging and dispatch. In the unlikely event that you receive either a wrong or faulty item then you may return it to us for replacement. We may, from time to time at our discretion, agree to provide a refund in place of a replacement.
Return should be by Royal Mail 2nd class Recorded Delivery which will be refunded. Any postage service over and above this cost, such as Royal Mail Special Next Day Delivery, shall not be refunded. Items should be unopened, unused and returned in their original packaging.
DEBRANDED CLEARANCE LINES/CUSTOMER RETURNS
These are described very accurately and sold 'as is'. Any marking or damage shall be described to the best of our ability. They are not sold "as New". Your statutory rights under the Distance Selling Regulations and Sale of Goods Act are unaffected. Our standard returns policy and timescales apply.
RESTOCKING FEE
Where an item is not returned in compliance with the Distance Selling Regulations, faulty and incorrectly dispatched items are also exempt, we reserve the right to charge a restocking fee of 15%. This will only be charged in exceptional circumstances to cover costs incurred.
